Clickbooth Advertising

So, there is a new advertising network in town called Clickbooth Advertising Network. So whats different you ask? Well, Clickbooth offers better features for its advertisers and publishers. With the CPA method of advertising that they use, an advertiser does not have to pay anything until an acquisition is received. This allows them to not only save money but also get the bang for their buck. There is no waste in impressions or click and advertisers get exactly the objective that they are paying for resulting in no loss for them. For advertisers, such as myself, it offers a team of experts working to maximize your profits as well as offers rotating ads so that you always have fresh content to see what works best for you. For you affiliate junkies, you get 2% of all earnings for life for each advertiser you refer and you get a $10 referral bonus. Lets say you have 10 referrals and they have 10 referrals, all that adds up to a 100 and in turn leads you to $1000 in bonus cash and lots of earnings over the life of your account. Clickbooth has high quality traffic and knows how to utilize its expertise in order to provide both its advertisers and customers with a pleasant experience. Their custom flash advertisements make it easier for you to rotate ads to maximize profits based on the ad that generates the most impressions for the advertiser and the most money for you. So if youre in need of a new advertising network, go ahead and give theClickbooth Advertising Network a try! They are definitely worth it!

Recovery Mode!

April 2, 2008 | By Enkay | 2 Comments

So, it seems as though someone tried to destroy my blog recently with quite a bit of excessive traffic, some irregular bandwidth activity and finally the Wordpress kill. For the past 3 days I have been trying to figure out how to get things to work and everything is back to normal thanks to a 100% backup that I had made. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I have been extremely busy with school and I do plan on re-doing the blog soon so that I can get things back to normal once my schedule is not as erratic. I wanted to see what the rest of you have been up to so leave me a comment about your whereabouts!

Some Blogging Techniques For Success!

March 12, 2008 | By Enkay | Leave a Comment

So many of you have noticed that I have not been around for quite a bit. I decided to take a little break but I will make an appearance from time to time. I truly apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused to some of you. I really hoped that I would have more time to dedicate to this but time doesnt seem to be on my side mainly due to school. Today i actually wanted to briefly discuss the blogging techniques that can make you successful. So lets start off with the first tip:

1) Friendly tone - a friendly tone such as the one used on John Chows or Ms. Danielles blogs is definitely helpful in connecting with your readers. Not to say that rude comments that are hilarious or rudimentary remarks are not successful, but for the most part readers like to be graced with a tone that they can relate to. If the readers can feel that you are friendly from the way you post, then maybe they will be more likely to lend a helping hand when you need it.

2) Graphics and Pictures - It is best, whenever possible, to use a picture, graphic or video to get your point across. Sometimes, readers may skim over your post and move on to the next however if there is a video then they are most likely to click on it to check it out. Visual representation of any kind is definitely a big plus point and maybe that is why when you visit John Chow’s blog, you see quite a few pictures of everything from his visit to the affiliate summits to the dinner he ate last night.

3) Asking Questions - the best way to connect to most readers is to ask questions so that they can respond to them. Questions regarding your blogging niche are most successful because that is the main reason that most of them actually visit your blog - to read your content. If you have a make money online blog and you ask questions regarding a movie you recently watched, then you arent connecting to your readers. Not to say that questions of those types are not appropriate, but to consistently have questions of those types will not help you in the long run.

4) Asking for User Input - another way you can get your audience involved is asking for their input. Its somewhat like a feedback card. If you get a lot of responses stating a particular issue then it might be in your best interest to try and resolve that issue. The happier your readers are, the more likely they are to come back for more.

5) Linking to Friends/Readers - I usually spend a few hours a week looking over the blogs in the blogosphere for interesting or motivating posts and I save those urls. Whenever i write a post that relates to one of those topics, I am sure to mention that link in my post. This way you can network with your fellow readers and friends and send them some link love.

6) Guest Blogging - I should be allowing a little more guest blogging but I do not get the chance to do so as much as I would probably like. I think that networking is what makes you successful in this business.

I really hope that some of you are able to take a little something away from this post and incorporate it into your websites or blogs and I do hope that I am able to incorporate some of these tips into my own blog.

TWIN : This Week In News

February 28, 2008 | By Enkay | 4 Comments

So, I have been gone for a while so I figured a good way to get back on topic is to cover a few things that took place during my hiatus. I looked to the news, the blogosphere and ofcourse money making websites for the latest in news and so lets take a look!

Microsoft Fined A Record $1.3 Billion
The European Union has apparently fined Microsoft $1.3 billion for failing to comply with an antitrust order. Over the course of several years, Microsoft has been fined around $2.4 billion by the EU. The fines are with regards to the fact that Micosoft charged unreasonable prices for information that servers need to work with its Windows operating system. Some might say the fine is a little too much but it may be appropriate based on the circumstances and to me it also depends on what is considered “unreasonable prices” but this is certainly an interesting issue.

Kontera Gets A Facelift
Kontera has revamped their publisher center and includes a great graph that represents monthly revenue over the past 30 days. It now also includes detailed reports which are similar to prior reports but are a little more organized and easier to browse through. They have a keyword report which breaks down, by percentage, the keyword that gets the most clicks. It also reports on the pages on your blog that bring you the most clicks and revenue which is very interesting. You can also change your ContentLink color directly from the Publisher Center. Overall, I am happy with the changes Kontera has made as they made essential changes so high five to them!

Smorty Slows Down
Smorty has been a popular source of income for most bloggers but over the past 30 days I have noticed that there haven’t been as many new ad campaigns. There are still 4 campaigns that are still currently running and the earnings are around $6 for each of them. I really hope that they will be able to pick up soon and be able to offer better campaigns to their publishers.

Sponsored Reviews, WHAT!?
So we all came to love SponsoredReviews for allowing bloggers to bid on reviews but it seems as though SponsoredReviews has upgraded and now allows the advertiser to counter your offer. What doesnt seem to work is that if you are willing to write a post for $100, you might get a counter offer to write the review for $8 or $9. I do not think that this will work to the advantage of SponsoredReviews as bloggers may not be willing to take such a large pay cut unless they are completely desperate but this seemed to disappoint me quite a bit and I’d like to know your thoughts about it.

So anyway, thats most of what I could come up with. Keep me posted with any updates that you may have come across and I will blog about it if I find it interesting too. Thanks again for all your support during my hiatus!

Python Stalks and Eats Family Dog

February 27, 2008 | By Enkay | Leave a Comment

So I was just browsing the front page of MSN and came across this story and was a bit shocked. Apparently, a 16 foot python stalked a family’s dog for a few days before swallowing the dog whole in front of the kids! The boy (5) and the girl (7) watched as the python ate their silky terrier-Chihuahua crossbeed at their home. The dog was 5 years old and was suffocated before being swallowed. The family was missing a few of their pets (cats and guinea pigs) and suspect that the snake has devoured them too.

The lady who was present threw a few plastic chairs at the snake but their efforts were of no use. Also, trying to remove the half-swallowed dog could have potentially harmed or killed the python because dogs have sharp teeth and claws that could result in internal damage.

The snake will be taken to a national park after it has finished digesting at the zoo on Wednesday. It must have been horrific for the children to watch the snake eat their dog. It took the snake only 30 minutes to eat the dog but it will take the python about 2 days to digest it. Here is a news story below and a Youtube video of the 16 foot Python.
