Thoughts.com has come a long way however it is still in beta testing. Thoughts.com brings a lot of functionality that different blog services offer and puts them together in one great place. They allow you to create a free blog or online journal to share with family, friends or even the whole world.

Aside from the general blogging perspective, they even let users upload photos, videos, podcasts and even interact with other members in their online chat or community forums. They offer unlimited bandwidth so you can share as much as you want, when you want to and theres no limit to how many people view your content.

They even offer several privacy options that allow you to make your blog viewable by a select group of people or everyone on the internet. Thoughts.com’s main page looks very organized as they offer a Yahoo-like setup with the main page including most recent blog posts, news, videos, pictures and tags.

They even host a writing contest where the winners get to go on a weekend getaway and although the destination for this year hasn’t as yet been decided, last years fantastic destination was none other than the city of Las Vegas.

All in All I’m really impressed by the way thoughts.com is set up. Its fairly easy to browse around and set up your free blog. The news section on the main page is a great touch and the forums and chat seem quite active. I can definitely see why this could get popular real quick. Best of all, since its free, you really can’t complain about anything. Anyway, go ahead and check it out! Create Blog!
