Why Bloggers Disappear

Its a sad part of blogging nowadays but a lot of bloggers that were frequent visitors of my site are starting to fizzle out. I won’t count myself out of the group but I have started to try and post at least 4-5 times a week again. I don’t really know how to explain that some of the bloggers that would be described as “upcoming” a few months ago are now struggling to maintain a post a week. I can’t take any names because I can also fall in that category, but there may be a few reasons when you feel that you just can’t post as much. Here are some good excuses:
1) Busy with other projects/school/work - Its true, not everyone makes a great living by blogging to be able to quit their daily jobs or to quit school for that matter. I go to school and most other bloggers have a life outside of the internet and sometimes they get tied up with other things.
2) Don’t know what to blog about - I have that issue sometimes. I feel that I have covered most issues but there is always something that you can think of that you may not have blogged about, atleast not in detail. It happens that you reach a point where you feel that you are just repeating yourself. You need to find new sources of inspiration to keep you going!
3) Just plain lazy - I’m not pointing fingers at anyone because once again, I feel the same way sometimes. I may have a great idea but I don’t feel like doing it now and all that leads to is procrastination. If you’re feeling lazy you need to try and motivate yourself to do what you have to do and that is the only way you will accomplish something.
I have seen several bloggers start to disappear but I was wondering if you guys knew of a few that were also on leaving the blogosphere. Do you guys feel that you are slowing moving away from blogging?

Well, I am glad that at least I am not in this category for now. I observed this too what you observed, but it might be a case that they are just too busy with their other work like Prija seems to be busy with his movie. I used to enjoy his post, but now reading him became once in bluemoon.
Yes that is true. I am glad I moved away from that but Prija has been quite busy. I talked with him recently and asked him to blog to give people an update so hopefully he comes back soon!
